Our manufacturing plant is the beating heart of Rivian. The teams working here produce the world’s first fully-electric pickup (the R1T, which earned the 2022 MotorTrend Truck of the Year® award), its sister electric SUV (R1S), and ground-breaking electric delivery vans for Amazon.
To join Rivian, a background in manufacturing or automotive is not required. We are proud of our track record of onboarding and training team members from many backgrounds who join with a can-do attitude and a passion for delivering quality. The training you receive will provide skills to help you build a vibrant and meaningful career.
In your role, you would join a committed team putting together parts and assembling vehicles. To make you successful, we provide clear training and instructions as well as all the gear you’ll need. And if you find an easier or better way to do something, your feedback can lead to real change in the way we build.

As an important part of your team, you will bring Rivian vehicles to life as you:
• Assemble or attach vehicle components
• Position or align components and parts with vehicles on the assembly line
• Put together parts to build more complex units
• Read and understand assembly instructions and follow established production procedures
• Suggest alternatives or improvements to processes for your team and other teams
